Elon Musk says Tesla will wind down Cybertruck production at Gigafactory Texas around mid-2027 to make room for Cybercab production
Elon Musk said on X that Tesla will wind down Cybertruck production at Gigafactory Texas around the middle of next year to make room for increased Cybercab production. The Texas plant is the only known Cybertruck factory. Musk said the Cybertruck fleet will be around for a long time and did not say whether production would move elsewhere. U.S. Cybertruck sales were estimated near 20,000 last year, down sharply from 2024, after Musk once projected annual sales of 250,000.
